A little about me
Liza Aponte is a Certified Paralegal. At the age of 18, Liza started helping family and close friends interpret with their immigration issues and applications. Liza then went on to work at an Immigration attorney office where she handled a variety of immigration issues with a focus on deportation, removal, family-based immigration, visa U, and DACA cases. While working at the attorney’s office that was when she developed a passion for immigration law. Born in Puerto Rico, Liza migrated to Atlanta, Georgia where she has seen the immigration communities flourish since 1996. Her life experience as an immigrant and her passion to help others made working in the field of immigration law the perfect fit. Liza attended the University of Georgia (UGA), where she gained her Paralegal and Immigration Law Paralegal Certificate. Liza has over fifteen years of experience in the field of Immigration and keep up with the immigration law changes. Liza’s favorite pastime is serving as an assistant to the different minority community with immigration matters. Experience areas: Immigration & civil matters.
